To find safe, smart, and sustainable solutions for the ongoing energy crisis and the ever increasing demand for electricity, ABB initiated the open innovation Electrification Startup Challenge in 2020, which brings leading start ups together, where they present their digital solutions to the ABB team and share their ideas with each other.
There were four categories in the challenge: Distribution Solutions, Service, Smart Building and Smart Power. Bamomas was amongst the four startups shortlisted in the Smart Power category. Bamomas solution was a concept of DC smart metering built on the basis of our own state-of-the-art battery sensor for lead-acid batteries.
The final pitching event for the challenge was held in conjunction with the Formula E race in Berlin, where Bamomas got the opportunity to present their solution to panel of jury comprising of ABB experts.
